Babysitter's Training
Audience: Children ages 11-15
Course Content: Prepares young people for
the many responsibilities associated with caring for infants
and children. Participants will learn how to perform first
aid and get professional medical help fast, identify common
safety hazards and prevent injuries, make good responsible
decisions, supervise infants and children, choose safe and
appropriate toys and games, perform basic care routines like
diapering, feeding and dressing, prepare simple meals and
snacks, handle bedtime issues and find interviews for babysitting
jobs. It also provides knowledge and skills practice in breathing
and alleviating choking but does not provide certification

Basic Aid Training
Audience: Children ages 8-12. This program
can be used to meet Boy Scout and Girl Scout badge requirements.
Course Content: Introduces children to safety
information and first aid procedures for breathing difficulties,
bleeding, poisoning, burns, shock and other emergencies.
