Babysitter Training

Does your child want to be a sitter? This program targets youth ages 11 to 15, and teaches decision making skills, basic child care skills, leadership and professionalism. Participants learn how to be safe, responsible babysitters and how to supervise and play with children of various ages. The course also emphasizes important injury prevention and first aid skills. Further, it addresses the business of babysitting, such as how to find jobs.

Prerequisites: 11 years old on or before course completion date.
Fee: $42.00 (includes pin)
Course hours: 9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (bring lunch)
